Types of Laboratory Work Bench :-

Mounted Workbench on a Pedestal

The caseworks in this kind of lab furniture are kept on pedestals with raised legs. This provides extra room for cleaning underneath casework. In a laboratory setting where frequent floor cleaning is required due to the possibility of water or chemical spills, a pedestal-type construction is advantageous. The most economical option is a lab table like this.

Workbench with Skirting

The case studies are stored on skirting bases in this style of lab furniture since there is no space left at the bottom. The best storage space is provided by under-bench cabinets. Therefore, the skirting type of table is fairly affordable and a value for money model if you seek more storage space. Lab furniture with skirting expresses a sense of completion with a straightforward yet attractive appearance. Typically, SEFA-8M caseworks have a skirting design.

Stainless Steel Lab Furniture

In clean environments, SS lab furniture is required. SS lab furniture could be preferred in labs where maintaining cleanliness is of the utmost importance. Worktops and caseworks are built of stainless steel of grades SS-316, SS-316L, and SS304 depending on the needs of the user.

Wooden Lab Furniture

Shreeji lab furniture for the most part in the pharmaceutical industries, wooden laboratory furniture is particularly helpful in highly corrosive work environments. Laminated ply work surfaces and storage cabinets are created with convenience in mind for laboratory activities.

Dry Lab Table

You only need electrical connections and a lot of open surface area in a physics lab. The dry lab workbenches are therefore essentially flat tables with storage underneath and an electrical raceway running through the middle of the table top. The electrical raceway typically has four points, two of which face each side, in an island-style table.

Wet Lab Table

The chemistry and biology laboratories require a lot of support rooms but not a lot of table surface area. For this reason, a typical "wet lab" table, or a laboratory table on which you can anticipate working with plenty of liquids, will feature at least one reagent rack to accommodate various bottles of reagents and other equipment.

These reagent racks also serve as electrical raceway connections because the chemistry lab occasionally requires an electric connection. Additionally, the gas connection is provided via two or four-way valves on top of the table, with pipes extending in each direction.

Demo Table

This little single-user table, also known as the Teacher's Table or Instructor's Table, comes in handy for the lab instructor to do an experiment in front of the class. If the teacher doesn't need a standard table, it can also serve that purpose if height is not an issue. There will either be a sink or a single electrical raceway in the lab, depending on whether it is a wet or dry lab. It will have an under-storage module instead of a reagent rack.

Island Tables

The big lab workbenches here can accommodate numerous users on both sides. Typically, they are intended to stand on their own closer to the room's centre. In addition, they may be positioned sideways on a wall, which is ideal for long, narrow spaces. Island-style workbenches typically measure 8 feet by 4 feet and 3 feet height, allowing three to four students to work on each side while standing or sitting on lab stools. Both dry labs and wet labs can use them. They will have the same configuration on both sides, regardless of what they may have up top. These tables also have under-storages that face both directions, giving people on each side of the table access.

Wall-Facing Tables

Wall-facing lab benches are required when it is necessary to position the workbench flush against the wall so that all users will face the wall. These are essentially island kinds that are only partially accessible and include storage on one side. Similar to above-table setups, only one side will be served by things like reagent racks and electrical raceways.

Types of Lab Tables Depending on Construction: :-

Lab Furniture

This frame is more durable than the other one. Basically, it is a configuration of square or rectangular tubes. The tube is structured in an almost square-like "C" shape when viewed from the side, hence the name. The only load-bearing part of the table, this frame expands its length, width, and height. It is directly seated on the ground.

Lab Furniture

If you require them, they are portable and less expensive solutions. There is no central load-bearing part in this kind of arrangement. Instead, the table's entire weight is supported by the storage modules (at least two are required). They are not as strong as the C-frame solution because they are manufactured from 1 mm thick CRCA sheet. But they can be produced more quickly and inexpensively.
